You don’t have to settle for a standard orangery roof if that isn’t what you want. The Atrium roof may be far more extravagant for your own taste and a quality choice it is too if you want to maximise light transference. Sometimes called a Lantern orangery, the roof is largely responsible for all of the light that hits the many different seating areas used by all members of the family. While lounging in the orangery they can listen to their favourite songs through the hi-tech speakers night and day as downlighters are poised to provide light.
Knowing that they will want to get the most out of their lovely lawn in summer, a set of folding sliding doors that can be completely opened to one side were incorporated into the orangery. French doors are also present and sit in between the house and extension for when there’s a desire to revert to orangery living. The occupants now spend most of their time in there now and who can blame them! In order to show the orangery off at night, two copper wall lanterns were fitted on the outside of the building and give it a gorgeous glow after sunset.
