UPVC SASH WINDOWS
There’s no sign of sash windows falling out of fashion as they have been around for over 400 years and enjoy universal appeal.
Sash windows have an ability to suit virtually every style of home and that’s why they’re so universally loved. They look outstanding as it is, but the owner of this property fancied doing a bit more and decided to incorporate Georgian bars into their design, and hasn’t it proved to be a masterstroke! There’s a moveable panel in each sash window to help manoeuvre it upwards when ventilation is needed. It’s so much easier looking after these UPVC windows in comparison to wooden windows as they can be completely left alone.
Their fondness of Georgian bars also saw them being added to the French doors and the accompanying side panels. A continental style of living has been established in the household thanks to these French doors as the family spend a lot of their time outside on the patio now that they’re part of the house. One of the most intricate jobs during this project was crafting the arched sash window but it was well within our capabilities. To complete the job, an imposing black composite door was fitted into the entrance and shields it from any threat that may be posed to it by wannabe intruders.
