REPLACEMENT TILED ROOF CONSERVATORY
Switching the old roof for a new roof and installing new UPVC windows has done wonders for this long-standing conservatory.
Prior to our arrival, this conservatory sat unoccupied for large portions of the year as the weather would cause the internal temperature to either be ridiculously hot or cold. We resolved this common issue by taking off the current roof and substituting it for a new lightweight tiled roofing system. You wouldn’t believe how much warmer and cooler the conservatory feels at the relevant times and thanks to the authentic tiles, it’s extremely difficult to tell that this is not the original roof covering.
The new windows were a necessity to help aid the roof in keeping a consistently comfortable internal temperature and for ensuring that the rest of the structure could cope with the impact of the new roof. These pristine windows are supplemented with traditional white coloured UPVC guttering and downpipes.
Moving from the conservatory to the patio is simple due to the side entrance and there’s also some patio doors waiting to be operated when anyone wants to go back into the house from the extension. Any night time lighting that’s required is driven into the space by the subtle downlighters which emphasise that cream / beige interior to the hilt. It’s like a whole new place now that we’ve worked our magic.
