T-SHAPED ORANGERY
The flexibility of an orangery enables us to establish designs in a host of shapes and sizes including a T-shaped formation.
We’re always determined to give any aspiring orangery owner exactly what they want. After assessing the requirements of this householder and their home, it was decided that a Gable fronted T-shaped orangery was the best fit. When appreciating the eye-catching frontage you cannot miss the French doors, assimilated into the orangery to make the outdoors easily accessible from the extension. Further French doors are placed at the side of the design and there are also some bi-folding doors that can be effortlessly concertinaed to create an opening into the kitchen.
An added reason for choosing the distinctive T-shape and incorporating a high-pitched roof was to ensure them of plenty headspace in an extension where separate living and dining areas could be established. The chandelier puts a strong focus on the outstanding interior at night too. Various coloured options were pondered over, but it was decided that a Chartwell Green finish best suited as the occupants wanted to give their orangery a vintage effect. The inclusion of Georgian bars accentuates that classic look and makes it an undeniably charming space. There’s a definite advantage to going down the bespoke route as you get full control over your orangery and end up with something that suits perfectly like this.
