We had our extension built within 4-5 weeks and all the workers were lovely and professional - If there were any issues, they came the very next day to sort them out. The order of works just seemed to flow from digging out the foundations, building the walls, adding the roof and the windows and doors. Communication was good and we were kept up to date, almost daily, to what has been completed and what to expect next and when, so we weren't left in the dark as to who was coming next to do what. When the 'snagger' came out at the end of the build, he was honest and upfront about things and made a couple of small changes which we wouldn't have known about or realised, but he was honest and got the small snags sorted before we paid the final payment. overall a good company with experienced builders/fitters and excellent communication skills!

From start to finish an easy no hassle experience. Two very friendly lads worked very efficiently and fitted 13 windows in 2 days, very happy with product and left no mess. Very impressed with conscientious attitude.

Overall very happy with the windows and the service. The guy who came out to quote was friendly, knowledgeable, and didn't give us the hard sale. He clearly was confident that the product and service was top quality (not in an arrogant way), and just let the objective facts speak for themselves. A very different experience from other companies we received quotes from who were pushy, derogatory of other companies and their products, and made wild claims about themselves that fell apart with one simple Google search. This company earned my trust (no small feat) and they didn't disappoint. They installed 4 windows quickly and at a reasonable price (without scaffolding, despite what other companies said), and we were so happy with them that we got them back shortly afterwards to fit a 5th window that we had previously been on the fence about. The only minor disappointment was the hassle of getting the FENSA certificate. I had to chase so many times, and then they issued certificates for the wrong number of windows, and I had to chase several times again to get it sorted. But I did get it sorted in the end. I wouldn't only deduct half a star if I could. As far as I'm concerned, the most important thing is the quality of the windows and the installation, and I'm very happy with them, so I would recommend this company.

Very polite efficient workmen. Clean workers, left no mess. Got on with job  and completed in good time. Price was comparable with other companies but couldn’t be beaten on workmanship. 

We had an old timber framed, flat roofed extension that was well past its use by date. It was also quite an irregular shape due to boundaries and other restrictions. Visual demolished this old extension and built a new orangery style extension. When Visual started work their various teams were on site until the work was finished. They made an excellent job of all aspects of the work and the irregular shape of the building did not cause any issues. We were kept informed of the work plan and there was regular visits from the company's Building Manager and Surveyor to ensure work was progressing as per plan. All the personnel were friendly and ensured that their aspect of the work was carried out to our satisfaction and requirements. I would certainly recommend Visual Conservatories, Windows and Doors.

Visual built our conservatory a few years ago,the product and workmanship was faultless. So when decided to have a solid roof fitted it was common sense to ask visual to fit it. From the initial measuring to the the finished job,as we would expect,the team came when they said they would and were a friendly and knowledgeable workforce. Nothing was too much trouble and it was a pleasure to have them with with us . I booked Visual to fit new french doors and replace some windows at my house- outstanding company and a pleasure to work with throughout. Their customer service was superb from start to finish- really knowledgeable team who provide sound advice and go above and beyond for customers. The installation team were true professionals who got the job done within the timescales- again really good customer service and the finished product is faultless.  Massive thanks to the whole team. We had a composite door previously, but following orangery work via Visual we thought it would be a great opportunity to change our front door to something more in keeping with our style. Visual had the perfect door which not only looks fantastic with a stain glass window, but also feels more solid and installed to a better standard than our previous one. This is our second purchase via Visual and again, we are happy customers.

We opted for a new Orangery & front door after seeing our neighbours (also Visual). The consultation process was great, Steven helped to guide & advise the best solution based on our needs & wants , but not in anyway pushy. There were several visits to our home by several members of the Visual team prior to work commencing to double check measurements and match the stone to our existing property, even before work started it was clear that the team genuinely cared about doing a great job. Then the work began and we were amazed at the progress. In total from ground works to being airtight with windows & internal walls plastered it was 4 weeks. The on-site team were all friendly and again it was clear to see they again genuinely cared about doing a great job and worked well together, keeping the area clean (as possible as far as building works go), but the progress was seamless between each trade and project managed very tightly. Communication with the office team to provide updates throughout the build was great and ensured we were aware what/who was arriving when. The team also helped out with questions, queries and organising any work i.e. 2x french doors removed left the floor uneven between the slab and doorways, but the team came out to remove the bricks the next day and level to allow our flooring to be installed. Overall, we are over the moon with the finished product and could not recommend Visual highly enough with our other neighbours also looking at an Oragnery.

Visual Effect Conservatories of Mirfield, West Yorkshire has exceeded our expectations. We needed to replace a 20+ year old wooden conservatory that was in a poor state of repair.  Having seen their tv advert, we invited them to provide a quote and to design a replacement for quite a sizeable conservatory with which we were happy. They promptly turned up and at the appointed time. This was followed up by a detailed design and a quote that was very competitive. About a month later, they started on the new conservatory with all work completed within 4 days. There are so many areas to praise: First, all the people we met were very friendly and experienced in their jobs. We could list all the names here but we would hate to accidentally leave someone out. The quality of the work is excellent and they took a pride in what they did as if it were their own conservatory. They also took great care of our lawn and property and were very good at cleaning up after themselves. They were very friendly, courteous and highly professional. One of the managers rang us at the end of every day to check on the progress of the work and to check that we were happy and gave us an opportunity for any feedback. This was a nice touch. In terms of the conservatory itself, we were particularly impressed with the quality of the product. We have a glass roof instead of the previous past its sell by date polycarbonate roof. It has made a significant, pleasant difference. The windows and doors are very well made and utilise all the latest technology you would expect with a modern product. Security is also a strong point from the door hinges to the state of art door locks, giving extra peace of mind. Underpinning their work is a 20 year guarantee on the conservatory and and all the glass from national standards such as Trademark and FENSA which gives us complete peace of mind.  The overall conservatory is impressive. It is beautiful to look at and certainly enhances our property. Everything Visual Effect Conservatories has done for us has been greatly appreciated and we certainly have no hesitation in recommending them to others. We have had our old wooden framed conservatory replaced. Very thorough with the surveys and measurements. Friendly and non-pushy sales reps. Work crews were so friendly and helpful. Work completed to a very high standard. The only negative point was there was a lack of communication between the contract being signed and work starting. We had to chase weekly for updates.

Good quality products but installation was months rather than weeks. Needed a lot of chasing and had a long snagging list. The salesman told us that flooring was included but didn’t state that on the “contract “ so I had to find an additional trader to put that in at additional expense 

We had new windows fitted from start to finish it was flawless . Excellent company the window fitters arrived at the time they said put covers down and they both worked hard ,all finished in a day and the windows look great , highly recommend this company .

Cannot say how pleased we are with the recent work carried out by Visual. They built an Orangery for us a while back and we were very pleased with how that went so it was logical for us to ask them to quote for new windows and replace the front porch. I had an idea in my head of how it would look but with the help of Steven Brewer from their sales team, they managed to supply us with a very beautiful front porch with the wow factor. From Sales through to all the trades we were happy with the quality, organization, and friendliness of the various teams. They would be my first go-to on any ongoing projects and the best bit was they were way cheaper than Safestyle and Coral windows. Safestyle fitted our last windows which never really fitted properly this time Visual have delivered a high-quality product and I,m delighted. Not sure where the negative comments have come from but it's not the company I recognize or experienced and I,m pretty picky with work done. I have no problem with recommending them.

We found Visual through an internet search. We visited them and spoke to them through their director Steve cooper, and we’re impressed by their simple uncomplicated process of talking us through the process of how it works and the time lives for commissioning a conservatory. We had a particular design in mind, and the visuals were responsive and delivered exactly what we were planning. The end product is excellent. We are so pleased. The work was completed well in time. Excellent service right from the initial visit to discuss our requirements, the design process, groundwork, the actual build and installation and completion. While, All aspects were well organised, from ordering the skip, materials, and building regulations took place as promised. The payment schedule was clear, although I was not impressed by unnecessary being chased for payments, as we paid exactly within a day of the requested schedule. Nothing too much to put us off. We can speak highly of Gary and Dominic who fitted the special roof and we’re so friendly and polite. All trades man from plumbing to electrician and plaster guys did a great job. Can think of any glitches at all, we have already recommended visuals to several friends and new neighbours who are considering a conservatory. Great service, professional in every way. Had a new “self-clean” roof fitted to the existing conservatory over a week ago. Fitters were brilliant; friendly, efficient and never stopped. Work took 1.5 days and at the end of each day you wouldn’t know they’d been … cleared everything away professionally. The only minor issue is we thought we were getting an orangery from initial survey but this was not the case …. probably our misunderstanding ….. and wish we could stop bird droppings to one side as it does tend to spoil the effect!! The conservatory now though is a lot warmer and quieter in the rain; more comfortable to sit in. Would definitely recommend. Thanks

I got my new doors fitted on Saturday. I wanted to replace the old UPVC ones for some that were more robust and more secure, that also wasn't too expensive, so I went with their Frontline composite doors. Extremely happy with the quality and how they look. Lovely fitting guys too! Would absolutely recommend Visual!

I have just had a solid roof put on my existing conservatory and I cannot praise highly enough the quality of the product and the installation team. The installation team worked in all weather conditions and even replaced existing guttering on the house. The finished product is excellent and would highly recommend this company for price, professionalism and quality.

Slow to start due to current supply problems BUT once they got started things moved on at a pace. A great team from digging out, laying concrete base, building walls and finally erecting frames, glazing, electrics etc. Cannot thank you enough. No mess left, lovely conservatory. Great Service by Graham (manager), Lisa admin and the three lads who replaced our orangery roof.  Very professional and friendly service. No hesitation in recommending them.

I can honestly say that every single person from visual, that was involved in my project, from the initial visit by the salesman to the joiner who fit the final door connecting the orangery to the original kitchen, was professional polite and more importantly skilled in whatever trade they were responsible for. Having major works carried out during a national pandemic, with a major shortage of materials and issues with tradesmen having to self-isolate, could have been a nightmare but thanks to the coordination from the two supervisors everything went relatively smoothly. There were some delays which were out of their control but I was kept constantly in the loop and never had any concerns about the progress. I was also impressed with the follow-up phone calls to get feedback and check that I was happy at each stage. Visual did not try to cut costs. All the fixtures and fittings from the sliding doors to the sockets and light switches were of a high quality. There were also times when they went above and beyond. As an example part of the contract involved converting a door to a window and when they removed the doorstep outside it left a patch of dry earth so the builder went out and sourced some sets to match the drive and laid them for me at no extra cost My neighbours and even the builders, that are now fitting my new kitchen, are impressed so all I can say is thank you to every single one of you who were involved. I would certainly recommend

We had a new solid conservatory roof and windows to replace our old conservatory .From the initial start to completion was very good, we was not pressured to sign by the salesman Steve who went into great detail about their product. The fitters Mark and Steve did an exceptional job throughout and worked hard. Customer service was good. From plastering to the electrician went smoothly to the final fix by Howard. I have a good eye for detail and can be hard to please so I am thoroughly happy with the completion and would highly recommended their work.

Thank you so much the extension went as planned only delay was due to the plastering due to a shortage but only by a week Visual builders cleaned up and hosed down after they constructed the building . I had a solid roof put onto my old conservatory and it went without a hitch. The install was as planned and was done as specified. The work was carried out brilliently and the after sales service was great. I had four quotes and while not the cheapest, in our view it offered the best value overall. And we were correct as they did a hreat job.

Staff were punctual,well mannered and tidy. They clearly showed their expertise and high standards of workmanship. I am extremely satisfied with Visual Conservatories, Windows & Doors and will certainly consider them for my replacement Front Door/Window.

The installers were not able to complete the fitting in one visit, as some beading was missing from their box of parts. It was a little annoying having to arrange a second visit.

From the initial survey to the finished job, the service was excellent. the fitting staff arrived bang on time and completed the work in the alloted time scale. The door looked fantastic when fitted. Staff were polite and tidied up on completion. The only criticism was a misunderstanding over the fitting of a flood door to the frame. We were led to believe that this was do-able but the fitters said it wasn't. That aside, no problems at all.

Two large windows and one small, plus a new front door. Designer suggested cladding for roof which I'm pleased I accepted. Excellent finish quick and efficient fitting.Very good company called me and kept to commitments they had made.

Replacement of two upper storey windows. Carried out efficiently and expertly within the estimated time frame. Very good product, accompanied by excellent customer service and satisfaction.

From walking into the showroom to having the windows fitted it only took three weeks. They came to fit them on the worst winter day, blizzard conditions, snow thick on the ground and freezing cold. But this did not deter the fitters, they just got on with the job, and what a fine job they did. They cleaned up after themselves, it was as though they had never been here. From start to finish the overall process was excellent, I have and would recommend this company to anyone who is wanting to replace their windows.

A slight hiccup on one of the days that needed attention but they were very professional al and did what they promised promptly. They chased us not us chasing them which is a rarity in most trades let alone this type. They even replaced our broken steps to the conservatory free of charge as a good will gesture which was nothing to do with the original quote. What was once an extra space that had its usage has now become the focal point of the house. Would use gain once I have some more pennies.

Great process, made the windows and doors part of our kitchen renovation as painless as possible. Fitter especially excellent (went out of his way to remove a course of bricks, and provided instruction on door operation), and everyone in showrooms (mirfield and birstall) fantastic. We had new black windows fitted at the beginning of October. We love our black windows the quality is really good and they look brilliant. The fitters were were committed to making a good job.They were reliable, hard working, polite and even did a good job cleaning the windows after fitting. We did have a long wait t rectify a problem but this is now done and we are thoroughly satisfied with the end product.

Only one nit pick the sliding door to the outside is quite a narrow opening and we didnt realise it would be so narrow.

Our initial contact in the salesroom was an important factor in our decision to go ahead with Visual. Steve Cooper was genuine, knowledgeable of his product and accommodating of all our requirements. After a slightly bumpy start with the initial building work, the process restarted and moved at a steady pace. However, once the base had been laid, the framework, electrics, plastering and flooring moved swiftly, smoothly and very accurately. The workmanship and quality of the whole work carried out by each tradesman was outstanding. The project managers at Visual always kept us informed and were always on hand to answer any of our queries in a friendly manner. The finished product has gone beyond our expectations and we are very much enjoying our new relaxing facility.

After a few weeks looking around different vendors for substantial work to be undertaken on my bungalow( new French Doors, new patio doors and new conservatory roof) I was losing hope of finding someone who could provide all three in my timescales and at my budget. During a visit to Birstall IKEA I saw an sign for Visual Conservatories and took a look at their demonstration setup. After a little negotiation I was happy to proceeds to a sales person visit and was surprised that everything worked out to my specification, The worked undertaken was very professional and the quality was high. All debris was removed from site and all the installers were a great team, well mannered and a happy bunch. In addition to the work performed Visual went above an beyond by fixing parts of my current conservatory walls to make everything as good as new. ( bear in mind they were paid to do the roof only). They repaired much of the loose/damaged trim to a high quality at no extra cost. I cannot recommend this company enough. It is top of my list for the family should they require any work they may need to be done The team were Phil, Kevin + another whose name escapes me. Great lads!

Excellent service from salesperson and workmen. Poor communication in office - wrong date for fitting, spent 2 days annual leave, preparing lounge for work doing - never turned up!!! No scaffolding delivered, so work took 2 days, one window opens the wrong way.

Our replacement conservatory turned into a much bigger job than we originally planned. Visual staff were always very punctual, and polite. They were happy to share their ideas and suggestions with us throughout the entire job. Given the many other tradesmen that were involved in the work, I was surprised, even pleasantly surprised on occasion how well the plan came together!! Yes we had little hiccups along the way, but anything we weren't quite happy with, someone always came back to sort it. Given our personal experience with Visual, we would be very happy to recommend them and the quality of their products to anyone.

Timescale excellent from our point of view, from initial showroom enquiry only 5 weeks to complete the project, despite the weather.
